Hello there my friends...

First of all... I'm back to my sweet home in this small paradise called Portugal (despite all the economical problems and the wildfires smell we're still the best ). And this fact took a lot of my time on dA and other stuff... anyway, life goes on.

So, I'm back home, looking for a job and going along with my project. I got my first gig last saturday and are coming soon - pretty good thing as I was thinking to start having gigs on september. My production skills are getting better - I've been working on remixes to use on the dancefloor. I know that this kind of stuff is higly subjective to people, but you can listen to it here [link] and I hope you like it...

Now some photography business...

I asked you about black and white on street photography... And there's a reason to it... my interest in street and spontaneous portraits is growing for a long time now and I like to look for some inspiration and for some true talented photographers. Most of these artists do it in BW and I really understand why... Because I've been doing the same and I just feel right doing it. They look great and BW goes awesome with it.

But then there's this: Quality on street and spontaneous portraits (SSP) can be enhanced by BW, but BW won't get great SSP just because you edit photos to BW.

So, more than a complex thing, it's a question of taste for each one. Use black and white or colour but, the most important thing for me, use QUALITY.


Because of this question, I decided to edit some photos in colour and I have them in a folder called "bw vs colour" [link] and I'm really looking forward to see some opinion about this healthy battle between "pigments".
